I don’t know the artists name, but I saw a very similar projection at the recent DUMBO Arts festival.
Making Future Magic: iPad light painting (by Dentsu London)
An amazing video about making living animation with an iPad
I shot the opening night gala for the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra this past Tuesday. In addition to my regular event photography duties, I had the opportunity to shoot the conductor, Jacques Lacombe and the guest artist Joshua Bell from backstage as they were performing. It was glorious and I feel I got some fabulous shots of Mr. Lacombe in the throes of conducting. The facial expressions are marvelous. I only got a few shots of Mr. Bell as the sightlines didn’t give me many chances to grab a shot, but the one’s I got I’m quite proud of. I hope I have other chances to work with classical artists in the future. Click the link above to see more.
